What Is the West Norfolk Call for Sites?

The West Norfolk Call for Sites forms part of the early evidence-gathering stage of the new Local Plan being prepared by Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk.

The process allows landowners and promoters to submit land that may be suitable for future development or other land uses. Submitting a site does not grant planning permission and does not guarantee allocation, but it is the critical first step in ensuring land is considered as the Local Plan progresses.

For the current Local Plan review, the Call for Sites consultation runs from 2 February 2026 to 31 March 2026.
