The Breckland Call for Sites consultation is now closed. Breckland Council has launched a Call for Sites consultation. This is an important opportunity for landowners and developers to tell the Council about sites which may have the potential for development.

In December 2024, the Government published a revised NPPF which has increased Breckland's housing targets from 625 to 903 new dwellings per annum. As a result of this significant increase, the Council has launched a new call for sites process to source additional housing land, including land for gypsy and traveller provision and renewable and low carbon energy schemes.

Sites submitted to the Breckland Call for Sites will be considered as part of the review of their Local Plan. If successful, your site could be allocated as part of the emerging plan.

At Cedar Planning we use our in-depth knowledge of the local plan process to promote sites for our clients.
