The latest Breckland Call for Sites has closed. The submissions will inform the emerging Local Plan, while landowners can continue preparing for future opportunities to promote suitable land.
In December 2024, the Government published a revised NPPF which has increased Breckland's housing targets from 625 to 903 new dwellings per annum. As a result of this significant increase, the Council sought additional sites for housing land, including land for gypsy and traveller provision and renewable and low carbon energy schemes.
Sites submitted to the Breckland Call for Sites will be considered as part of the review of their Local Plan. If successful, your site could be allocated as part of the emerging plan.
